On March 16, 2006 some of the Dorothy Thomas students partcipated in the Leonard Shearer 13th Annual March Madness Basketball Tournament.  Some of the students participating are in the Kids and Canines program.  One of our students, Jeff B. was selected as the school's MVP.  Jeff is a remarkable athlete, he enjoys most sports but basketball is his favorite.  The Cleveland Cavaliers is his favorite team and Lebron James is his favorite player.  Jeff plans on attending FSU after High School and aspires to be a professional basketball player.  He is respectful, shows great sportsmanship and is a proven team leader.
