The people at Ewenity Farms Herding Dog Rescue knew Bingo (a.k.a. Maverick) would be a good fit for our program, and once we meet him we did too. Bingo has a pleasant disposition and is loved by all who meet him. When he came to Kids and Canines he didn’t hesitate in his enthusiasm for playing with the other dogs and was quick to learn his basic commands. His eagerness to please makes him an easy dog to train.
Bingo was so friendly and eager to learn he became a part of our Furry Tales program in his second week, the only dog to start Furry Tales so early in their training. While he is still learning the skills needed to master Furry Tales he continues to participate for short periods.
Bingo loves to play outdoors and wants to be outside all the time. He plays until he is “dog tired” and plops down for a nap. Once asleep it is almost impossible to wake him. His favorite place to sleep is right next to a human companion on the couch or bed. All his foster parents and sitters have described him as a “snuggle bug”. They would also say he loves to eat!
Bingo went on to finish out his training with DreamAcres4Autism where he was placed as a full service dog. Congrats to Bingo and all the trainers.
Special thanks to N41 Bingo for helping sponsor Bingo’s training.
